Recipe Of Vegan Custard
Ingredients
-3 cups of non-dairy milk
-2 tablespoons cornstarch
-1/4 cup agave nectar
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
-1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cornstarch and 1/2 cup of the non-dairy milk until there are no lumps.
2. Add the remaining 2 1/2 cups of non-dairy milk and the agave nectar. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, whisking constantly until it comes to a boil.
3. Reduce the heat to low and continue to whisk for about 5 minutes, until the mixture has thickened.
4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
5. Pour the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool slightly before transferring it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.
6. Serve cold with fresh fruit or a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!
